The Economics of Enterprise Agentic Software
How AI Changes Business Work, Enterprise Adoption, and Vendor Competition
Abstract
Agentic software is changing which business activities enterprises can delegate to technology. This paper examines the economics of process automation, the balance between human participation and autonomy, reliability, and the decision to build, buy, combine approaches, or wait. It connects these demand-side questions with vendor differentiation, pricing, delivery economics and customer acquisition, then introduces GTMI’s enterprise, vendor and compatibility assessment methodology.
Inside the paper
- Enterprise buyers: workflow economics, autonomy, reliability and adoption
- Software vendors: competition, pricing, delivery and consultative selling
- GTMI methodology: demand, supply and vendor–account compatibility
